Since the 1970s there have been vivacious charismatic movements in most of the churches in North East India. This study is a case study of the charismatic movement in the Zeliangroung Baptist Churches that spread over the three states of north east India, namely Assam, Manipur, and Nagaland. It reveals that the charismatic movement, especially the healing dimension of the movement, is popular due to the cultural context of the people.
