The author has been working among the Mahadalits for the past 25 years, engaged in a variety of activities aimed at their socio-cultural empowerment. The present book, which is the second in the series, is based on his experiences among the Manjhis. The first book, “Musahar Musings”, published last year, contains stories of their achievements. The author’s field experiences confirm his conviction that the liberation of the Manjhis is both possible and fast taking place, made evident with achievements of social centres like Manthan.
