After Swami Vivekananda returned from his triumphant visit to America, he was received as a hero in India, and went around the country making speeches to the thousands to who showed up eagerly to hear him. This book is a collection of many of those speeches, and are, as some called it, his "Charter for Modern India." The lectures are his call for the awakening and activity of India.
