The book is divided into 11 chapters; first three chapters are related to the oscillations covering the free oscillations of simple systems, damped oscillations, forced oscillations, free oscillations of systems with two degrees of freedom and coupled system. Fourth chapter is related to Fourier explanation of the system. Chapter five to tenth are related to waves and their motion in solid, liquid and gascolumns. Ninth chapter related to the musical instrument and musical scales. Chapter eleven gives the basic ideas about acoustics.
