Birhor and Hill Korwa are particularly vulnerable tribes (PVTGs) of India live in remote villages of Raigarh, Jashpur and Surguja districts of Chhattisgarh, central India. Realizing the importance of health, particularly reproductive child health, first hand data on 116 Birhor (254 F and 256 M) and 223 Hill Korwa (481 F and 447 M) households were collected and analyzed for various bio-cultural parameters. This book contributed an indepth account of reproductive health of married adolescent girls along with trans-generational (3 generations) analysis of reproductive behavior with a view to understand the change in their reproductive health care practices over generations. This piece of research work will be useful to policy makers, researchers, NGOs, health workers and administrators & planners working in tribal development and health sectors.
