The book contains the life and work of Shrimad Sudheendra Teertha Swami and also his illustrious predecessors. The Kashi Math Samasthan came into existence in the year 1542 and Shrimad YadavendraTeertha initiated the Guru Parampara. The first Guru had a formidable task before him - to build up the Math as a fortress of faith. That the samsthan has had a succession of 20 gurus so far is a tribute to their perseverance in upholding our dharmic way of life. The author has also dealt with the lives of our ancient sages, notably Shree VedaVyasa and Bhagavan Parashurama as well as the founder of the Dvaita system of philosophy, Shrimad Madhavacharya.
