Palestine is a country which has seen much devastation since 1948, that now it is struggling with the status of statehood. The forceful creation of Israel in 1948 had left millions of Palestinians homeless who are still living as refugees or immigrants in other lands. With further the expansion of Israeli territories in 1967 had resulted in much suffering for the Palestinians who are left with no choice than to be an expatriate or a refugee. And the remaining Palestinians who are still living in their lands are suffering under the Zionist regime because anytime, any atrocity can be inflicted on them in the name of security. Day and night they have to face many difficulties and embarrassment and their life seems to be hell as they are living in open jail. They are like second class citizens in their own homeland. Living in such miserable circumstances, these Palestinians dream to get back their land which they had to leave due to uneven circumstances they are been forced to live in. This book is an attempt to depict the sufferings of the Palestinians since 1948 till now. Moreover it is also reflecting the voice of Palestinian writers or Palestinian narratives in Literature.
