Ferns and fern-allies are major groups of Pteridophytes. They are the simplest and non seed bearing vascular plants. The Pteridophytic Flroa of Nainital District, Western Himalaya, India is an attempt to explain the component of Pteridophytes. The present book describes 153 species (143species including 10 subspecies), 6 hybrids belonging to 53 genera and 19 families of ferns and fern-allies. The present book is useful for plant lover, taxonomist, researchers, students, ecologists, conservationist, naturalist, trackers and botanist etc.
