Northeast India is very rich in its multiethnic and multicultural diversity. Their indigenous culture is nourished in the lap of nature. However, with the changing dimension of time and influence of globalization, a number of social and cultural changes can be noticed among them. On the other hand, as their cultural practices, social norms, values and customs are oral in tradition, these are remaining undocumented. In this context, to understand about the traditional culture, contemporary period demands an in-depth analytical research from the emic perspective to write the ethnography of indigenous communities. It is an academic effort to build the co-relation between central and marginal traditions to frame the holistic national integrity in multiethnic and multicultural India. Through this book
