This book consists of an introductory overview of metabolites of plants and deals with their Types, Classification and Uses. Emphasizing on Secondary metabolites like the Phenolics, Terpnes and nitrogen containing Compounds. The first section would cover the structure, Classification and biosynthetic pathways for the synthesis of these Secondary metabolites in plants and their uses and advantages.
The next section would include the isolation techniques of secondary metabolites, Methods of Large-Scale production and lastly the Biotransformation, which are upcoming and thrust areas in the field of pharmaceutical industry which explores and puts to use the therapeutic potential of different secondary metabolites present in plants. Also, the techniques for their isolation is important with the point of view of framing research work including its analysis qualitative and quantitative parameters for students.

She has a number of research papers in National and international Journals of repute and has also contributed chapters in various books published by Springer- Nature, Intechopen, Taylor- Francis and a few others. She has qualified CSIR NET (AIR 12) and obtained her Ph.D degree from Department of Botany, University of Rajasthan Jaipur.
